Morning Artist – A cookbook that shares the culture of breakfast around the world

Morning artist is a cookbook that shares breakfast culture from around the world, including classic breakfast recipes and food culture profiles from 20 different countries. Each recipe is accompanied by an interesting breakfast story from famous chefs, food writers, travel bloggers and more.

The inspiration for this project came from my own personal experience. Before studying abroad, I used to ignore breakfast, but when I lived with classmates from all over the world, I broke the rules and perceptions of the past. I saw it as a form of cultural exchange when we bumped into each other in the kitchen, each making different flavours of breakfast and sharing the cooking styles, traditional cultures or interesting stories of these ingredients. Through this project, I wanted to display the breakfast culture of different countries and regions, thus promoting cultural exchange. At the same time, I hope everyone can enjoy breakfast and care about their health.

The Dresser Magazine – Issue 01 Lipstick Culture

The Dresser is an independent magazine that highlights the importance of the items on a woman’s dresser, with each issue having a specific theme, such as lipstick, perfume and mascara. It reflects the changing status of women in society and focuses on women’s rights and ways of thinking through tiny objects. The content covers a wide range of areas such as history, feminism, art and life, and presents the attitudes of women from different industries in an objective way through personal stories and interviews.

The first issue focuses on lipstick culture, which tells the history and evolution of lipstick, its connection to the women’s movement, the role it played in the Hollywood era and how contemporary women show the power of lipstick. My idea was to deepen contemporary female understanding of the objects on their dressing tables through publication that appeal to gender equality while showing the unique power of women.
