The Age of Artificial Stupidity
Have you ever laughed at some Artificial Intelligent (AI) products? Have you ever been bothered by some AI products? Do you sometimes feel that the AI products we use nowadays seem not so smart or even a bit stupid? Are we really in the age of Artificial Intelligence?
For this project, I used the y2k visual style, hoping to look at some of the not-so-smart AI products of today through the lens of techno-optimism circa 2000, using some hyperbole and analogy to flirt with the phenomenon of these AI’s performing some stupid acts and to satirise some of the over-hyped marketing.

Face Mask Recognition page
This webpage was inspired by the artificial intelligence mask recognition system used at entrances of public places during the epidemic. As most mask recognition is achieved by recognising whether the nose or mouth is visible on a person's face, errors in recognition often occur. I have satirised this phenomenon by showing some examples of ridiculous mask recognition with hyperbole.

Image recognition webpage
I think there are probably quite a few people who have experienced comical AI image recognition, sometimes they identify cats as dogs and scattered pasta as blooming fireworks, and on this page I have created some examples of ridiculous image recognition errors to flirt with this phenomenon.
