Matsutake
Matsutake was the mushroom that was the first form of life after the Hiroshima explosion. It is the name I have given to my body of work and research into the relationship between traditional craft and modern technology. With undertones of Japanese calligraphy and shibori techniques, I have tried to maintain their significance in the modern day.
