Megan Dingwall (She/Her)

Megan Dingwall is a Glasgow based artist graduating from her final year of studying Painting and Printmaking at The Glasgow School of Art.
“My work currently focuses on storytelling through the use of sculpture, photography, and illustration, and explores themes such as narrative, performativity, and femininity. I use dolls in my work to reflect on my own experiences and stories from within the queer community, predominantly referencing club culture and high femme aesthetics. I feel that especially during a time like this they present some sort of retrospective or pre-covid nostalgia”
A selection of my work will be shown physically in Part Two of the Alternative Degree Show Festival across Glasgow in July 2021.
