Sistema Scotland are a children’s music based charity who aim to provide accessible music tuition. The brief was to provide a Residential Retreat for the children involved with Sistema. The site is based in Balloch, a village situated to the south of Loch Lomond.

Over the course of this year the project has evolved around the central concept of protection and safety. Taking precedence from Louis Khan’s studies of Scottish castles and the Broch typology.
