Specialising in embroidery, I seek inspiration from colour and material investigation. Material led design allows me to create a series of samples which are applicable to a variety of outcomes, using sustainably sourced materials which seek to compel and intrigue the viewer.

Materiality
Collecting a variety of discarded materials, I have created playful textiles produced through the deconstruction of everyday normalities. Through isolating my primary imagery, I have investigated a variety of material possibilities. Focusing on hand-led processes and interlacing materials, I have produced an extensive, tactile collection which explores different scales. The samples are adaptable to a variety of environments and invite the consumer to question the tangible natures of the materials used, and to interact with the collection.
