Yorgos Karras

Yorgos Karras (b. 1980) is a Greek multidisciplinary artist, currently based in Glasgow. His practice explores the relationship between Subject and Object and the mechanisms of ‘seduction’ that the latter applies to the former through a system of excessive image distribution and consumption.

His most recent work focuses on the relationship between personal memory, technological development and alienation, as well as the condition of the self to be a mechanical part of the spectacle.
