Blue Peas and Wild Chicken
This three part publication is about my grandmother, Nelly Neo, as well as Singapore. It tells a brief chronological narrative about Nelly and how her life paralleled these three time periods of Singapore: A british colony, Syonan and the Independent state. It is my intention that through this project, people start to reflect upon their own sense of identity through their heritage.
