As a female growing up between Scotland and Spain, I decided to explore football as a community builder and destroyer. Lad culture, locker room talk, toxic masculinity, elitism, gender inequality, some of the many components of modern day football culture. This project was a way for me to connect to others through football in a new way, using the shirts as the identifying link between relationships and memories formed.
