Think books, Think Penguin.

Books can influence change and improve young people’s lives. However, growing up as digital natives in the UK has changed Gen Z’s reading habits and shifted their focus and attention.

Tidbit by Penguin is a new way of sharing stories. Books are reimagined and delivered in bitesized formats through a variety of interactive mediums found in orange Penguin spaces.

In collaboration with Lit in Colour, Penguin wants to be in the forefront of bringing diversity in books. Tidbit helps to create authentic connections between diverse authors and readers by seamlessly integrating stories as part of their lives. This is the new culture of reading.

WRITING FOR TODAY, LETTERS FROM TOMORROW

Capturing the ephemerality of memories in poetry.

Writing for Today, letters from Tomorrow seeks to challenge the notion that ‘poetry is a luxury we cannot afford.’ This project aims to address the declining interest for humanities in Singapore by encouraging young Singaporeans to attempt poetry.

Designing a personal and fun experience through a poetry kit helps to deflect the perceived intimidation it is generally associated with. Making poetry accessible and relatable is a step forward towards developing an appreciation towards humanities.
