BILATERAL WIRING
The convenience that information technology offers to us, society and individuals attract us to indulge in it. Collective emotions, emotional polarisation and the rapid spread of disinformation have become current social issues. My project focuses on how we are changing and interconnected under the influence of the social environment of information technology.
I have titled my book Bilateral Wiring. Wiring as a term of connection used initially to denote technological technology has taken on a double meaning in my work, organic and technological connection at the same time. It reflects the differences in our connections in the virtual and real worlds.
